You can have the best ideas and vision for your team  in the world however if you don’t understand the art of effective communication it is likely you will not achieve those goals- this module supports the role of communication in management and leadership and demonstrates effective management communication techniques- a full day interactive programme.
Time and Team
The most essential part of management is managing time and team effectively – effective time management can greatly impact on your bottom line and learning how to manage a team to also effectively manage their time is most definitely a skill. This full day interactive course will support your managers to effectively manage their time and team.
Managing performance
Great managers understand the skills and complexities of managing people and how to motivate their team to ensure maximum output- using SMART objectives and emotional intelligence to understand the needs of your individual team members is a key factor to successful leadership. This full day interactive course will support your managers to develop their performance management skills.

Management qualifications can usually take between 6 and 9 months to complete depending on experience.

Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Management (QCF)

This accredited qualification is aimed at learners working in a management role across a variety of sectors. It is advised that learners have basic level of English skills before enrolling onto this qualification. This qualification is approved for delivery to the age range 19+. This qualification is made up of mandatory and optional units. Learners must achieve a minimum of 25 credits by achieving;
  • All mandatory units totally 14 credits
  • A minimum of 11 credits from the optional units
Successful learners can progress onto further qualifications within management.
How long will it take me to achieve this qualification?
This qualification requires from 130-165 guided learning hours, depending on which rules of combination are taken.
How is this qualification assessed?
Through a portfolio of evidence which is put together during the course and demonstrates the learner has met the required assessment criteria.
What next
Learners achieving this qualification are able to progress to further qualifications in management.

Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Management (QCF)

This accredited Qualification is for learners who work in, or want to work in management roles such as Manager, Quality Manager, Business Manager, Business Improvement Manager and Area Manager.
It gives learners the opportunity to:
  • develop and demonstrate a range of technical skills and behaviours that support competence in the job roles stated above. This includes skills in leading and managing staff, recruiting and selecting employees, developing and implementing operational plans, developing working relationships with
  • stakeholders, and managing business risks.
  •  have existing skills recognised
  • develop the role-related knowledge to underpin competence in the job roles stated above
  • develop their own personal growth and engagement in learning.
  • achieve a nationally-recognised Level 4 qualification
This qualification is made up of mandatory and optional units. Learners must achieve a minimum of 53.
How long will it take me to achieve this qualification?
This qualification will be delieverd in a mode that meets the needs of the learner for example full-time part-time, evening only which in turn dictates the length of learning.
How is this qualification assessed?
Through a portfolio of evidence which is put together during the course and demonstrates the learner has met the required assessment criteria.
What next
Learners achieving this qualification are able to progress to further qualifications in management.
